MacroVOLT™ is ideally suited for training people to use other computer applications. For example, let's say you need to train interviewers who will be using a computerized survey form to record the responses of interviewees. These interviews must be standardized and conducted exactly as designed. The survey form is long and many questions need thorough understanding on the part of the interviewer. What appears to be a simple interviewing task is actually quite complex and demanding.

A MacroVOLT™ course can train dozens or hundreds or thousands of survey workers rapidly and simultaneously. Such a course might include the following:

• Background information on the survey, including its purpose and showing previous results. Testing to ensure that the trainees understand.
• Detail on each question of the survey. An example of a properly completed survey form. Testing to ensure that trainees have mastered the concepts.
• Short playable and replayable video showing each survey question being properly processed and explained by an experienced trainer. The viewer will see and hear exactly the same thing as if sitting beside the trainer and being coached on the process.
• By running the MacroVOLT™ course in one window and the survey application in a second window, the trainee can immediately practice each operation, returning to view the video again if needed.
• A final examination with a required passing grade to test the student’s grasp of the instruction. This exam could include questions based on other video examples of good and bad practice.
• Ability to submit questions and get expert answers via e-mail using the MacroVOLT™ Ask-an-Instructor feature.
• Further interaction with instructors using a scheduled MacroVOLT Live™ session.
