Overview

MacroVOLT™ is a system for developing, deploying, and administering Web-based instructional courses. MacroVOLT” stands for Macro International’s “Versatile OnLine Training” system. The system is hosted and fully supported by Macro International. Course types range from simple text-based courses to complex courses with extensive multimedia features.

MacroVOLT™ was developed by Macro International, the professional services subsidiary of Opinion Research Corporation, a public corporation. Some of Macro International’s largest clients include Fortune 500 companies, colleges and universities throughout the nation, Federal, State and local governments, non-profit organizations, trade associations, foundations and foreign governments. The system was developed by the AHT division of Macro International and used for a variety of client training applications. MacroVOLT™ learning systems are jointly marketed and operated by AHT and the Social and Health Services division of Macro International.

MacroVOLT™ is the most flexible and cost-efficient distance learning system available on the market today. Its benefits and features include:

Clients may use the system to develop their own courses, or they may take advantage of Macro International’s full range of instructional course design and development services. Clients can become affiliates and begin their course development work immediately. Low fees are charged per student/per course. MacroVOLT™ can be used to develop self-instructional courses or to support live instruction using MacroVOLT Live™. Once developed, courses can be made available on the Internet in a variety of ways, including pre-registration only, registration by payment with a credit card, and free and open registration.
